8 inches. however dachshunds aren't very good for agility due to their long backs. All that jumping around can cause later problems or none at all it depends on that particular dog's genetics.
They're smaller and they weigh less. One of my dogs was 1 pound at 2 months and the other was 2 pounds at 2 months. They are 7 and 11 pounds now, respectively.
