telling if someone is lying about something or not is purely reading body language. if they wont look you straight in the eye, that means they are to nerveous to face you, so they are probably hiding something. also if they sweat, fumble with their clothing or something else they are holding, they stutter over words, cant seem to remember anything that happened in what they are talking about right away, and seem to blame things that happened that they might get in trouble for oneverybody else that was there in the situation. if they seem to avoid the main oint of the conversation, or always try to get away from what you are really talking about, then they could be lying. there are many other ways to determine if someone is lying or not, but these that i have stated in answering your question are the main ones. but always remember, different people have different ways of showing they are lying. you cant accuse someone of lying just becaues they are sweating, or are fumbling with something that they can hold, because different people have different characterisics. one person might make everything obvious when they are lying, and another might have the ability to act the same way they act every day, making eye contact, breathing slowly and steadily, and totally acting like they are not saying anything that isn't the truth i have always found the best way is to trust your natural instincts, because no matter what, there is always a rightness in whatever you feel for the first time. lie detector tests are very acurate, but if you don't have the time or money, just use the tips i have given you, and i hope that they will do you well in determining idf sombody is lying to you or not.
