How the side stand indicator in two wheelers works? |

Answer
When the side stand (kickstand) is in the raised position, it is pushing in on a pressure switch. This is a safety measure (not always popular) that is intended to prevent one from riding away with the side stand still down. One should never rely on the indicator, as a stuck sensor could result in injury or worse.
