Hi there, I've been waiting to see if someone else would answer but seeing as how there hasn't been I'll just tell you what I did. I was feeling the same (married 10 yrs, 4 kids) so I took the kids away for a short trip (just 3 days) which gave him just enough time to decide if he missed me. (I had never been away anywhere except the maternity ward without him before!) I have to say that whether it was having no-one to cook his meals, do washing etc. or whether it was just the loneliness, but when I returned he just couldn't have been nicer! I was, however prepared to have to think about the possibility of leaving if things han't got any better. I think they seem to know if you're not 100% serious. Apart from this, I was reading an article on this the other day which just said the usual about setting time aside each week / month just for the two of you. But I thought the idea of going to see something GOOD at the cinema was quite useful It said you don't have to do much talking but films always evoke emotions and it also gives you something to talk about afterwards. Another thing was to try telling him you really think he's wonderful - apparently we all respond well to flattery and it makes the other person seem more attractive to us, so the upward spiral can at least have somewhere to start from.
