if you want to calculate mass with volume density it is easy. there is this thing called the magic triangle. it goes mass over volume beside density mass=volume x density volume= mass/density density= mass/volume if you get that it is simple

we cannot calculate mass because there is no formula for it, but you can find it buy using a beam balance.

and about volume, you should mention the volume of what you want, because there is many kinds of volumes (volumes of regular solid, volumes of irregular solid's shape, volumes of a cylinder and the volumes of liquids) so you should mention it.

Given the dimensions AND the shape you may be able to work out the volume - at least in school examples.

Then density = mass/volume so that mass = density*volume.

Both values on the right are known so the mass is easily calculated.

Density = mass/volume so density x volume = mass
