Yes, you can bake any cake in a conventional microwave oven, rather than one found in a stove or anywhere else. You need some type of special pan however, a microwavable pan which can possibly be found at your nearest Wal-Mart.
Use an 8oz box of Jiffy cake mix, any type...Mix according to instructions on the box...Grease a loaf or square casserole dish...7 minutes at 50% or Medium in your microwave...1~2 minutes on High...Check with a toothpick...I make them all the time and they turn out perfectly...

No, you can't, if you are talking about cakes such as layer cakes or white cake, or chocolate cake. In other words, no cake that is fluffy and has an open grain structure. The only kind of takes that one can make in a microwave oven or very dense cakes such as brownies. The reason for this, is that the rate of heating of ordinary cake batter is so fast that the cake structure has no time to build and therefore the batter expands wildly and then when the microwave goes off it collapses. I've done work on this kind of thing for nearly 50 years.
There was this one website I found with something like that.
Turns out, It worked! It was quick and easy. But man, I wish I remembered it!
A cake can be baked in a microwave in a microwave-safe pan, as long as one follows instructions very closely. The cake will not develop a crust as it would in a conventional oven. Using a tube pan will help the cake bake all the way through. See the attached link for microwave cake recipes and instructions.
Regular cake mixes and recipes for cake are not made to cook in Microwave ovens. There are special deserts in packages that be cooked in the microwave.
Cakes can be baked in microwave ovens in glass or silicon pans. See attached link for detailed instructions.
You can't because the cake will not turn out right. Cakes need to be bakes in a regular oven.
You do not preheat a microwave. A microwave heats the food, not the oven. With nothing in the oven it will not heat up.
Make the batter as usual then put it in a NON METAL container and microwave it for about 6 mins.
My advice is not to bake cake in microw wave it wont work,
what is the method of baking cake in SHARP microwave oven
It is Must to Preheat your oven (200 deg c) before you cook cake, you will get well cooked cake within 15 Mins
the purpose of baking powder in a cake is to make it rise and not make it flat and if you put too much of baking powder your cake might burst in the oven/microwave what ever you use
Microwave ovens do not need to preheat, it is not good to run them without food inside. This can damage the oven.
350°
The cake is baking in the oven.
Cakes cannot be baked in the microwave. Baked goods require dry heat, which a microwave doesn't provide. Microwave ovens cook by generating moist heat, so everything cooked in them is essentially steamed.
no just keep the oven temp at the required temperature for the cake(s) you are baking
You would preheat the oven for an eggless chocolate cake in the same way you would preheat the oven for any other type of cake: turn the oven on, set the thermostat to the required temperature, then wait for the oven to reach that temperature.
yes
A sponge cake is cooked by the heat transfer method of convection.
