To format Nokia 3110 phone memory follow the steps: 1. Switch off your mobile. 2. Press *,3,green buttons together 3. Now switch on your mobile. Press these buttons till you notice a formatting screen on your mobile Note : Make sure that mobile is fully charged & transfer all the important files, messages, contacts to memory card.

∙ 9y agoA Hard-reset is like formatting a drive! It does format the memory. Everything that has been installed after the first use of the phone is deleted! It will recover the memory of the phone to the state you purchased it! It is done by inputing the following code: *#7370#
NOTE: The battery must be full or the charger has to be connected to the phone so that it does not run out of power and make the phone unusable.
If this is not working then try these steps:
Switch off your Nokia N72 phone and press and hold these three keys.
1. Green dial key
2: * key
3. No 3 on keypad.
4 Then press power on to switch on the Nokia n72.

1) Switch off your phone
2) Press and hold these 3 keys together:
-green dial key
-the star key(*)
-the number 3 key (Ugh, I wish I had three hands…!!)
3) Power on the phone
Warning: Do not release the keys until you see a formatting screen and even after the phone has started. Wait until the initial sound starts to play and the hand animation is displayed.
