special shampoo and conditioner on humans hair to kill on humans.

to kill lice in house is is down any leather or vinyl furniture with wet, warm cloth. Vacuum upholstered furniture with your vacuum cleaner. This will help remove any hair and nits that may be attached to the furniture. Do the same for your car seats, and vacuum your rugs and carpets, too. Although pesticide sprays are on the market, most health experts caution against their use. These sprays are designed for furniture and rooms, and they claim to kill any possible live lice or lice eggs. However, they're quite toxic, and should probably only be used in cases of extreme infestation.

With untangled hair, this method of lice removal takes about 10 minutes or less and leaves hair soft and shiny.

Use about 70% warm water, 30% conditioner. It doesn't have to be exact. Blend it by shaking it in the conditioner bottle or in the blender. The hair can be wet or dry. Generously pour the conditioner/water mixture ( I like to call, "lice scream") onto the hair and comb with a regular comb first, ( Many times lice are stuck in the regular comb and are easy to see. So rinse them down the drain.) Then use a lice comb in the path made by the regular comb, and comb the lice out and rinse them in running water out of the lice comb and down the drain too. The best lice comb is a metal comb made by, "Licefreee" . However, I only use their comb. I threw their goop away. Add more 'lice scream" to the hair. Comb more lice out, rinse them down the drain. Then add more lice scream and comb more lice out. It is very important to keep adding more new conditioner/water mixture "lice scream" because when removing the lice you will also remove conditioner/water mixture. If the lice comb gets stuck, use the regular comb to smooth out the hair, then continue again with the lice comb in a systematic way until you're sure you have covered the entire head. (Or other effected area.) Then repeat the entire process until you are sure there are no more lice. Then do it a couple more times to be sure. Then rinse the conditioner out with warm water. After all that combing the lice and the nits are all gone. However, if you do find any nits, that means you missed a spot. You should try again. You need to be thorough. Nits are lice eggs that are attached to the shaft of the hair. The nits are stuck so hard that they will not shake off. They must be removed with a lice comb. Wash and dry affected bedding and clothing, combs and brushes.

This works because even the smallest amount of conditioner will stop lice in their tracks!

Which means the lice can't move out of the way of the lice comb. If you listen carefully, you will hear the, " LICE SCREAM ", as they go down the drain!

Also try a cat FLEA COMB. It is smaller than a lice comb so it gets the eggs better.

Bothe the above methods will work, as will washing your hair in anything that will kill lice. Basically, if it would kill you then it will almost certainly kill lice. Vinegar, bleach, white spirit etc., all these will work.

I fought lice in my daughters hair for months...Every time I thought they were gone they were right back. I washed everything in HOT water and the did the whole ordeal of using RID! I could have bought stock in RID and they never went away. I finally read about vaseline... After 2 more treatments with RID and washing everything I broke down and put vaseline in my hair and my daughters. We wore it overnight with a shower cap and the next morning started the washing process. Use dawn dish soap that makes it a little easier, your going to have to wash ALOT! We still had a greasy hair do for a couple of days but lice can't stand that!! They can't grab your hair with it being greasy..I'm proud to say we have been lice free ever since! I can't believe I did all that RID and other "home remedies" when all it took was a tub of vaseline! I would tell any one to try this first now.. BY the way, I called my daughters pediatrician back when she had lice to see if they could help me and of course they can't prescribe anything AND they won't come out and tell you to use the vaseline but when I suggested it they said Definite YES!

Also,(what I did) I took distilled vinegar and mixed it with baby oil. It really works. another thing u can do for further treatment is to put gel in the hair. That works for the same reason it did with the other lady.(above)It makes ur hair too greasy for thr lice to deal with. They HATE it!!

another thing that works is by putting an oil called "tee tree" and you put some on the back of your ears and back of your head and they hate it. also you can just put some on your shampoo. trust me this really works at lice removal and also as a lice repelant so they don't go on your hair. hope this helps

mix together baking soda with conditioner. make sure there is a little more conditioner than baking soda. then, using lice comb, apply to hair. rinse comb after every two combs. repeat daily. even when you think they're gone, continue for a week or so. "lice check" hair frequently.

Wash any clothing that was worn and or left out. Vacuum everyday for at least a week, wipe down furniture, clean drapes and curtains. Most importantly, make sure everyone in the house is lice free. Do daily head checks. Live lice can live off of the human head for up to 2 days!!

Try using Rosemary Repel L/I spray its for the hair but you can also spray down any material thing like bedding and pillows, stuffed animals and furniture.

You can use mayonnaise by putting it in the hair and using a lice comb to get the eggs out. You can also purchase a lice killing treatment and apply it to your hair and let it sit for an hour or so.
