Go to the local home and garden store and buy Bloom booster or give it a heavy dose of plant food. Make sure you have all the right settings and are not over watering. Also if it is stragley cut it back give it a second chance to flourish. If you do cut it back typically about two thirds off is the way to go but still keep it shapely. I worked in a green house for seven years those few things are all plants need. Go to the local home and garden store and buy Bloom booster or give it a heavy dose of plant food. Break of an "elbow" with sharp knife or pruners. Watch out for the drippy white stuff-- it is like the pointsettia flower. Let the plant dry out for about 2 weeks, out of the sun.

Some people use rooting hormone powder at this stage. I just put the piece of plumeria into sandy soil in a 6 inch pot and water just enough to settle the soil down. These plants are drought resistant and very hardy. DO NOT over water-- the stem rots easily.

You can put the pot directly into the ground. If you plant the plumeria into the ground it will have to stay there. They don' like to be moved. By putting it into pot, you can move it around your yard if necessary.

Good luck!

I have a plumeria which had 3 main branches. During a construction project, workers broke off two of them about 2/3 of the way from the base. The remaining branch is healthy and blooming. Will the other two branches grow again?
