just press a+b+start+select at the same time Most emulators have a "cheat" option in the menu. If there is no Action Replay option in the "cheat" dialog box, use the GameShark section instead. It should work.
First your emulator MUST have either a
-Action Replay(max) ROM
-Or a cheat, AR Action Replay button in the toolbar.
Then you need to start the game(you dont need in all cases,it decides from youe emulator) then, open up the cheting menu.Search for an option: "Add cheat" or something like that and open up. Copy the code from where did you find it, and paste it into Add cheat window.
Give it a title (at some emulators even a note) and click OK or accept. Next time you open up the cheat menu, you can use and edit the code you just added. At some emulators, there are built in codes for games, so there are a few before even looking at it.Its usually easy to get codes, just type in Google :
Action Replay Codes for*GAMES NAME* and hit search. The fifth or sixth link would be good if that not, try other keywords.
* Well, you can use cheat engine. Download it from this address: http://www.cheatengine.org/ There are instrustions, you can read or just watch a video I can give to you if you need it.
* Or on the emulator, it says cheats. Press it and then press cheat list. Go to Code and write your code! That's all the ways I know. I hoped I helped!
You insert the GBA cartridge into the Action Replay, and then the Action Replay into the GBA. Some AR's have an on/off switch, this will need to be on. Once the GBA is switched on, the AR will search its internal database to see if it recognises the game that is inserted. If it does, it will have a selection of cheats which it can apply to the game, the exact specifics depends on the game.
If the game is not recognised, then you will need to look online for the codes and manually enter them. Some AR's have a USB cable and their codelists can be updated automatically via a program on the PC.
You cannot just enter a code straight into the GBA Action Replay. You would need to take your Action Replay setup CD and install a new code into manually from a computer.
