You can store it in the fridge or freezer.
If your going to store it in the freezer, make sure you either keep it in its original wrapping, or wrap it in aluminum foil-and make sure to label it with the date.

Keep it wrapped with a cotton cloth and put it in the bottom of the freezer or in a dark and dry place. The trick is to keep the moister in.
