I have found no sure way to keep them out of a barn. Some of the things that will help is to have cats that stay at the barn. You can buy poison at your local feed store that help some. Try to keep grain in sealable containers, such as metal barrels with lids that shut tight. Keep the floor clean and free of spilled grain.
