I do not know, the same thing happen to ours recently.

I had this problem recently with a 93 grand v. after the hood release handle broke and the way the mechanic opened the hood was taking the grill out - just unscrewed 2 screws - and with the same screwdriver pushed the latch. Hope it is as easy on a 95. Now I carry a pair of pliers to pull the cable from the inside until I find a new handle. If you know where to get one let me know.
