(1)If the truck is equipped with manual windows, remove the window regulator handle. (2) If the truck is equipped with power windows or door locks, remove the switches by removing the screws for the power window switch and the other switch connectors on the back side of the door trim finish panel. (3)Remove the screws from the armrest area of the door panel. (4)Remove the inner door handle. (5)Remove the screw (if equipped) at the lower rear of the door panel. (6) Lift the panel at least 1-1/2 inches to disengage it from the slots along the bottom of the door, then remove it. (7) If necessary, carefully peel the watershield from the door. The process is a little different depending on whether you are doing the front or rear doors. For the front, remove one screw on the top side of the panel closest to the outside mirror. Remove a second screw behind the door pull latch. There are three more at the pull handle and arm rest. Then the trim panel must be pryed away from the door using a pry tool. There are 10 fasteners. You can pull the trim away from the door a small bit and run your fingers behind the trim to find them. Start from the bottom and run up the sides. Once loosened, lift the trim up then out to release. You then have to disconnect the handle and lock latch rods (plastic clips), and then the wire harness connectors. The panel is now off. The rear doors are similar, just with less screws and fasteners. Be careful not to damage the ten fasteners.
