I only know about the grand Espace '98 RXE, ok? The rear side panels are screwed to the body with T10 torx self-tappers. The secret one is under the air grille at the very back of the panels each side. The grille prises off. The other screws can be seen or found. The carpet is tedious. My wagon has seat rails, 8 in all, held by shouldered torx T30 screws. They are best shifted with an Impact Driver and T30 socket, 1/2 inch drive and as soon as you get one moving tighten it again then loosen a little more then tighten. Trust me on this. As for the front seats they are a horror to remove as it is very easy to wring the torx depressions. When all the rails and the front seats and the side panels are removed you can start on the floor carpet. Be warned it weighs a ton. You need to remove the handbrake and gearbox shrouds, again obvious screws, but you need to slide the gaerchange shroud forward to release it.
