First, what seems to be the problem why the R&P should be repaired? Second, what type of R&P? is it power assisted or manual? there is movement on the drivers side and it is manual

well i had the same problem , i looked for seal kit but i found it easier and cheaper just to replace the whole unit , i got mine from kragen for under 100$ easy to put in , had to make sure...
While is it possible to repair/rebuild a rack, BUT the special tools need to disassemble are expensive. You are better off just to buy a rebuilt unit from an auto parts store.
