if your hamster goes fat and cant climb very well.
it will make a nesting bed in the cage,
it will become a little bit agressive
it will drink loads of water, it is better if you give them bottled water..
normally if the baby's are born they are very tiny and hairless and depend on their mother to look after them! if the mother is young or a first time mother then she MIGHT eat the baby's.
if the babys are born then you have to separate them dad from the cage because he will most likely eat the baby's.
don't pick up your pregnant hamster and if you do pick it up gently and not from the stomach!
All hamsters are different, personally mine run around the cage looking for matireals for the nest, but one time i had a winter white hamster and she stayed in bed throughout the labour and 4 hours beore the labour so like i say all hamsters are different.
Hope this helped :)
When her tummy is getting bigger and bigger. And about 18 to 21 days the babys will be born and do not touch a baby hamster when it's born or the mother hamster will eat the baby wait like 1 month before touching or holding the baby hamsters. And When your hamster has a baby give your hamster alot of food and ALOT of Water. Because she willl be super tried.
After the babys are 1 month old start give them chop up smalll carrots and chop up hamster food.
I hope this helps
How do you know when your hamster is about to have a baby?
You have to look around the belly and you could see her belly is kind of round and big that's how you know
they mate like dogs you know like male on back female on bottom
The mom will be squeaking a lot and if you try to touch her the dad will snap or bite you DO NOT HOLD THE MOTHER IF SHE IS PREGNANT if you do she will have an abortion !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wait.
Hamsters normal gestational period only lasts 16-20 days.
1) Her nipples will start showing.
2) She will start gaining weight.
3) She will start creating a nest and hiding her food.
you will have to ask the person who sold you the hamster that is the only way.
If it has a bunch of baby hamsters
if it is fatter than normal.
I think your hamster is feeding the baby..but maybe you doesn't realise it or doesn't know it...Hamster are nocturnal, they sleep in the day and wake up in the night.http://wiki.answers.com/Are_hamster_a_nocturnal_animals#ixzz19q8JCj2v
No, probably not. A baby hamster is like a normal hamster, only smaller, and a baby. But my hamster used to bite me a lot and I didn't get infected. so, no you won't.
Cuz they're freaks.
If I remember correctly, they start building their nest first.
the hamster fairy.
If you get anotherfemale hamster the mother of the hammy they with fight and the female hamster will eat the baby hamster.! If you don't know if you have a female or male go to animal doctor and they will tell you if they female or male?
He'll have a little fluffy erection and he should be inserting it into the other hamster, assuming that the other hamster is a female.
you get another hamster and get over it
