To stop a bleeding hemorrhoid, there are several things a person can try if the bleeding isn't too bad. Try soaking in a warm up for 15 minutes up to 3 times a day. This will help to sooth the irritation. A sitz bath is also helpful as it's another form of soaking the hemorrhoid to sooth irritation. Also try cleaning yourself with moist towels instead of regular toilet paper. If the bleeding doesn't stop, see a doctor immediately.

∙ 10y agoThe first thing to do is to work out what is causing the hemorrhoid. If it is straining (either on the toilet or lifting weights) then this can cause hemorrhoids. It's up to you what you do about weight training, but for toilet straining: First, drink 8 glasses of water a day, then have more fiber by eating more fruit with skin and vegetables. Although, having a powder substitute which mixes with water works very well too.
If it is because of irritation of the anus, then I suggest using very soft toilet paper and adding aloe when wiping. Also, to get the swelling down a little ice wrapped in thein underwear and placed on the anus will shrink that thing down.
