Rough
Slave life in ancient Egypt, was contradictory. Many slaves in ancient Egypt performed the role of servants in the house of the wealthy. They were usually fairly treated, adequately clothed and well fed. Remember there were no modern labour saving devices. Every household job had to be done by hand. It was hard graft.
Those who were less fortunate were forced to do humiliating, degrading and often dangerous work such as working on the land, digging canals, building monuments, quarrying and worst of all working in the mines. They were at the mercy of tough overseers. Food was pretty basic and they were usually naked. and they were punished if the job wasn't done well. They would get beaten torched and even cut.
Depends on what sort of slave you were. It appears that most slaves were well treated, adequately fed and clothed. In some households long serving and faithful slaves became a part of the family. Then on the other hand you could find yourself toiling in the fields or building the monuments under tough overseers. Food was not so plentiful and there was a good chance you would be naked.
This is an answer I have used before which hopefully will go some to way answer your question.

The Egyptian slaves generally worked as serving men or farmers.
Like most slaves in ancient times they were captured during military campaigns. They also did do some slave raiding into Nubia in the south and Libya to the west.
They were big,luxury..they had really big columns which had carvings on them and statues of the pharaos which were also big. Slaves were there also and the pharaoh sat on a chair with guards and slaves round them. A picture is oinked below.
Sand and dirt...desert like
i believe that they weren't slaves then they were all living normal lives in Africa.
Slaves in ancient Rome did not have their own houses. Domestic slaves lived in the same house as their owners and had rooms/space there. Farm slaves or public slaves in the city were housed in barracks.
Slavery was in every country in Ancient times. It actually wasn't very big in Ancient Egypt. It was partly a symbolic thing. After invading a country, you would take a few of the people back to your country. This showed how you had truly conquered the country. Most slaves worked like servants in rich households, including that of the pharaoh. They were allowed to marry and have children. They could be freed by their owners.
no they didn't slaves where just like housekeepers there job was to clan and be old what to do they couldn't do anything else
some were slaves some were well looked after children. it depended on if the pharaoh like them.

first, they were in the same time period. secondly, ancient Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt both have natural barriers, like mountains, and deserts. also, they both try to invent ways of communicating, like things to write on(clay tablet for Mesopotamia, and papyrus paper for ancient Egypt).
In ancient Greece they used war slaves called "Helots". these slaves were sometimes set free after working for so many years. basically like POW's that are slaves.
yes there is still slaves like sex slaves or in prison. a slave is usually a person who works without pay. there are plenty of slaves in America because there are backcountries and they are still racism in a lot of places.
