Black holes can't be seen but you can see how something affects the area around the black holes, so that's really how they found a black hole.
Karl Schwarzchild is the man most often attributed with having discovered the black hole with a telescope.
how is that possible if you can't see a Black hole, how can you see it with a telescope?
See the related link for detailed information.
Black holes were hypothesized because there did not seem to be any limit to the amount of gravitational force that could occur as matter becomes increasingly dense, and therefore a collapsing star would at some point logically have a gravitational field so strong that no other force could overcome it. Later, astronomical observations yielded many observations which would be consistent with the existence of black holes generally located in the center of galaxies. We have not had the chance to observe a black hole at a sufficiently close range that we can be completely certain of its properties, however. Much of the theory of black holes remains speculative.
Your use of "the" black hole seems to indicate that you are thinking about one specific black hole. Please clarify which one - there are several known black holes, discovered at different times.
1916, Albert Einstein came up with the theory about Black Hole.
It's not a "remnant" of a black hole; there is a black hole at the center of the Milky Way, period. And as far as I know it wasn't discovered by any single telescope; rather, it has been observed over several years, with different instruments, and scientists have come to the conclusion (based on such observations) that the only explanation for what they observed is a black hole.
The first strong black hole candidate to be generally accepted from observational evidence back in 1972 was the Cygnus X-1 x-ray binary.
The ozone hole was discovered over Antarctica.

Which one?
karl
it is said that there are black holes in space which we have discovered is true and how gravity realates to a black hole is well, a black hole is said to suck away other universes we have not discovered yet gravity pulls things to the ground and a black hole uses that same pull force to suck in universes
The largest discovered black hole is a quazar named OJ287, and it has an estimated mass of 18 billion suns! WOW!

No. The idea of a black hole was first proposed in 1783, 230 years ago. The first observations believed to indicate the presence of a black hole were in 1964.
Holes, which include black holes and ozone holes were discovered in the space and atmosphere respectively. The black hole was discovered in the space and ozone holes were discovered above the Antarctica.
It is a newly discovered Black Hole in the vast Universe.
Yes. Matter falls into black holes all the time; the first known black hole was the "Cygnus X1" black hole, which was discovered by the X-ray emissions caused by matter being pulled off the companion star and falling into the black hole.

a black hole cannot be ovserved, so it could not be discovered. a black hole is created when an extremely old star implodes on itself causing a distortion in space, making a hole with suction power so strong it can even trap light.
