In 1485 England had a population of about 2 million people. About 90% of the population were poor and lived in rural areas. They grazed sheep and grew crops. The only recognized religion was Christianity.

The towns of England back in the 1500s always had churches, houses and a town square for the markets, also usually the town was surrounded by a wall if it was under attack it would had to of been knocked down before the town was being attacked, as it would give the people time to respond.
