Wellbutrin is working for my ADD.

I have been depressed, and with serious ADD most of my life. I was self medicating myself until recently, I really didn't know, how to ask, or where to ask for help. So I self medicated mostly with pot ( typical santa cruzian ). In just the last 5 years, I have developed alcohol dependancy, I was to the point of FALLING asleep drunk almost every night.

Unfortunately, I have to meet with the CEO of my very large Company, very regularly I needed help.

I tried to get help at Kaiser, but I could never get to anyone I was forced into a series of pre-screening, and talked with 3 doctor, they even wanted to take Z-Rays of my spine ( ??). Luckily open enrollment to switch Job Medical Benefits came up, and I fled from Kaiser.

Fast Forward 6 months

Feeling depressed, drinking like a fish, off the weed. So my friend came over, and he is like a walking pharmacy, all legit, but thats him, he has every pain / problem in the world....! He gave me an ADD pill ( not wellbutrin, and a Zyrtec D, and I finally felt relieved).

Went to his allergist, and found out I was allergic to Dust Dirt Grass and similar, he put me on the Zyrtec-D. It also just so happened his Medical minor in college was Depression / Psychology.

OMG. He talked, he listened, I found my Doctor! He put me on Welbutrin ( I took it before to quit smoking and noticed the ADD and depression relief, but this time it was hard to tell with the Zyrtec D. Sometimes the combo will keep me up all night, actually including last night. Yet today, I feel great, its 10 PM, and I hope I sleep tonight.Tonights a work night so I knew not to take the PM Zyrtec D.

Also does anyone else feel like you are kind of vibrating from the wellbutrin, its pleasant, but can cause me to be a bit shaky handed.At the same time, Im in a really good mood, but still have minor depression at times, though it passes faster now.

Ive quit smoking, drinking, weed, ( other ), this is really working for me.

Can anyone tell me if Im doing the right thing, or possibly suggest some alts.
