well I'm not a doctor but your liver is a big part of the clean up crew in your body so if it can't filter the morphine very well it might kill you.

Does the liver deaminate fatty acids?

Deamination is a process that occurs in the liver that removes the nitrogen-containing portions (-NH2 groups) from the amino acids. These -NH2 groups subsequently react to form a waste called urea. The liver therefore produces urea from amino groups formed by deamination of amino acids. The blood carries urea to the kidneys, where it is excreted in urine.

How does liver react with hydrogen peroxide?

test it and find out

Can 5mg of morphine a day affect a person?

Yes. Habituation & tolerance will develop. Basically the body adjusts to having this morphine in the body every day. If the morphine dose is suddenly stopped, the body will react to its absence: this is known as withdrawal.

Can Dilantin show up as morphine in mouth swab drug test?

Nope. Dilantin (phenytoin) and morphine (opiate) are completely different classes of drugs and should not cross react on a drug test.

Does the potato react more like the liver or the tap water?

Why does fresh liver react better in H2O2 then boiled liver?

It all has to do with catalase. Catalase is an enzyme and a biological catalyst in the decomposition of H2O2. When its fresh, catalase is still present in the liver. However, when the liver is boiled, the catalase enzyme is denatured (as it is a protein).

Does cold liver react with hydrogen peroxide?

A mixture of morphine c17h19no3 and an inert solid is analyzed by combustion with o2 the unbalanced equation for the reaction of morphine with o2 as follows the inert solid does not react with o2?

4 c17h19no3 + 85 o2 ---> 68 co2 + 38 h2o + 4 no2

Why does macerated liver react faster than whole liver on hydrogen peroxide?

By macerating the liver, you are increasing its surface area (SA) therefore, the enzyme catalase can break down the hydrogen peroxide at a much faster and easier rate.

Why doesn't macerated liver react with hydrogen Peroxide like liver does?

Because by macerating it, you increase the surface area. Therefore you will have a faster reaction. More O2 will form in less time.
