How will you handle the pain when you decided to stop seeing a girl that did not love you?

Love certainly does have it's twists and turns and please understand there are thousands of other people who have had to realize the person they loved didn't love them back. The fact is, you realize it, are ready to deal with it and are moving on.

If one didn't feel the pain of lost love then they will never know great love when they feel it. Walking away from someone you love (or someone has walked away from you) is actually a grieving time as if you have lost someone close to you by death. In many ways it is a death ... you have lost someone from your life and are left with only memories. There are stages when it comes to grief:

• You feel your heart will burst from your chest
• You may blame yourself
• You may cry
• You may listen to music that you both enjoyed and go over and over the good times you may have had together and wonder what happened
• Then you will get somewhat angry perhaps at her or even yourself for allowing yourself to go on in this manner, but it's normal.
• Once you get over the anger you are still hurting to some degree, but this is the time you pick yourself up, go out with friends and have fun and get socially active again and start dating.

Although this may not be much comfort to you at this time, one can learn from each relationship they have and become more wary of what they expect from a good and loyal partner. It will also make you aware that there is some girl out there that will love you the way you want to be loved.
