How worried should you be with a 3 day headache that won't go away?

It depends on a number of things.Have you hit your head?Did it just come out of the blue? Are you taking meds to try and get rid of it? If you have taken alot of Tylenol or ibuprofen you could be into a rebound headache caused by the pills.Sometimes there is a flu that can come with a 3 or 4 day headache.Try an ice pack and lay down for a couple hours in a quiet dark room.If you haven't taken any pills take 2 extra strength(500mg) Tylenol or ibuprofen and do the ice pack and lay down.Also dehydration can cause a terrible headache so make sure your drinking lots of water.But you should be checked out anyways to rule things out.Try and go to a Dr. if you can.Best of luck!

Try taking over the counter medicines or use natural remidies to see if that helps your headace or try to nap or relax and forget about your headache It always works for me! But if your headache is really bad or it just wont go away you might wanna see the doctor. It's probably a migrane
