How worthwhile is purchasing earthquake insurance?

Answer:
It is only worthwhile if you live in an area with frequent earthquakes. Otherwise, it is a big waste. It is also worthwhile if you live on a fault line, or have neighboring cities that had earthquakes.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, there is a 70 percent probability that one or more damaging earthquakes of magnitude 6.7 or larger will strike the San Francisco Bay area during the next 30 years. For more information, visit the Related Link below.
