How would a woman ask a man to marry her?

Im asking my boyfriend on the 12thFebruary this year. He can't wear rings or watches due to work. So i thought i of his favourite hobbie, which is steams trains. I have paye for us both to drive a steam train as this is something we both will enjoy doing. Then we are having dinner buy a lake. The company i wrote to are helping me plan the day and trying to make the place look romantic before we arrive. I have bought a small diecast steam engine in red gift box. I will propose to him with this near the lake half way through the day. Later in the evening we are having dinner in a lovely country pub where we are staying for 2 nights. This may sound a lot of time and money to some, but he works away on a ship 6 weeks on 6 off. He been away over Christmas and come back around his birthday in feb, so iv combined the 2 presents an the special day together.

I think what im trying to say, put somewhere or something that you both enjoy doing that will be memorable for you both. It don't have to cost loads of money.
