How would it have been to be and evacuee in ww2?

Answer:
It would have been very emotional. pupils wouldn't know what was going on, they would have just gone to school as normal but took a spare change of clothes. there mums and dads wouldn't have told them what was going on. they would have got to school then go to the closest train station and get on the train. they mostly went to wales but sometimes they just went to a countryside. Once you had got off the train you would go to a hall and get fostered until the war was over. If you didn't get picked you would have to go to the dump and live with trash bags but that was unlikely.
