the vulture is a scavenger belonging to the family Carthartidae which is divided into two group, old world vultures ( found in Europe, Africa and Asia) and new world vultures ( found in North and South America). Vultures Feed on dead and dying animals this is because they lack the strong and deadly grasping feet of true Birds of Prey.

Vultures, as part of the group known as birds of prey, have acute eyesight, muscular legs and sharp bills. While most birds of prey feed on live animals, the vulture specializes in eating the bodies of the dead. When a particularly good prize is discovered, it is not uncommon to find up to six different species of vulture taking part in the feeding frenzy.

Vultures are large birds that feed primarily on carrion (dead animals). They are typically bald (no fur on their heads/faces) because it prevents them from catching bacteria/disease while sticking their heads inside rotting carcasses.
