Soldiers are assigned to ODA's (Operational Detatchment Alphas) through which common and specialty skills will be evaluated. ## Language Training - soldiers are trained and evaluated for proficiency in at least one foreign language. ## SERE (Survival, Resistance, and Escape) Course - It is what the name implies, and is the toughest portion--mentally, physically, psychologically, and emotionally--of training and assessment for all Special Forces candidates.
