Try checking the fuses first. There are a set inside the car, and another set inside the engine compartment, on the drivers side, near the windshield. If that doesn't work, it's probably a bad wiper motor.

There are check out charts that the mechanics have access to that will lead to the problem
You either have a bad relay, wiper motor, or bad switch.
