It all depends on if a person is a Hindu or a Christian. The Hindu will say Hinduism and the Christian will say Christianity.
From a Christian point of view the Holy Bible seems to have all the right answers.

∙ 9y agoHinduism is over 3700 years old, so it is certainly older than Christianity, which is around 2000 years old. With Judaism is gets a little trickier. If Abraham is seen to be the founder of Judaism, then Judaism is 3800 years old and might be older than Hinduism. If anything else is seen as the founding of Judaism, such as Moses receiving the Law, the Davidic Kingship, the Babylonian Exile, etc., then Hinduism is undoubtedly older.

Did Jesus worship God? Yes
So therefore he is a Muslim because to be a Muslim you haved to submit yourself to God.
Abraham preached the message of God. Which was to worship 1 God. He didn't preach God having a son or Jesus be God. He subitted to God so he too is a Muslim.
Another perspective:Regardless of the meaning of the word, Islam as a belief system didn't arise until about 600 years after the time of Christ, so no: Islam is not older than Christianity, nor was Jesus a Muslim.Wiki User
