I bought some Bose in-ear headphones from pure-base but think they may be fake has anyone else had this problem?

Fake, i got 2 pairs and all the tell tale signs, green text on packaging, decall wears of instantly, no serial numbers, sound crap!, ive heard many reports of PURE BASE aka www.headphone-store.co.UK ripping people off, i sent to mine to Bose and they confirmed they were fake.Trading standards are now involved.
