My swimming pool corner shoots are fine, thank you. If your swimming pool works, but no water is coming through the returns (the little jet-thingys, or "shoots"(?) then mabye your pump works, but the pool is not working. Try setting the filter to bypass or discharge and see what happens. If nothing changes (no moving water), there could be a problem within the pump, (jammed or clogged impeller)
my phone is not working is there a problem with service in the Roy UT area

I had a similar problem last year with reoccuring algae. After searching the net, just as you are now, I read a post from someone who swore that algaecide has nothing to do with elimaniting algae. He said chlorine is what kills algae. He claims you don't need algaecide at all, just the correct amount of chlorine. I thought, yea right! But, I checked my chlorine the next day. It was low. Very low. My chlorine back-pack for my Frog unit had been empty the whole time I had the algae problem. I brought the chlorine level up to slightly past normal, shocked it with BioGaurd Extreme burn out, and guess what? No more algae! For the rest of the season I kept closer tabs on my chlorine level, always keeping it slightly high, and I didn't have any more algae problems. In the past I always started the season with a dose of algaecide along with the rest of my start-up chemicals. This season (2008), I thought I'd skip it to see if the guy who wrote the post is right. So far I have no algae problems at all.He was right, it did solve my problem. The note above the text box here says sicne I'm not a member, my message will be anonymous. But I will leave you my email to prove this is legitimate. Feel free to email if I haven't given you enought info. labru@epix.net
