It would be easier to answer this question if you gave more information. If you're young and you're interacting with people online, of course your Mom is gonna have some concerns. Just make sure who you're talking to really is who they are saying they are. If you wanna be certain that who you're talking to isn't catfishing you, perhaps video call them on Skype, ooVoo, etc.

Difficult situation at best, even not knowing the details. Rebuiling trust with someone whom you feel betrayed you or let you down can seem nearly impossible. Afterall, once bitten, twice shy. But, it can be done. Focus on small issues, immediate issues. Does she follow through with what she says she will do? Does she keep her word? Trust has to be earned and it is harder for one who has burned that bridge in the past to rebuild it. Mom needs to want to be trusted and has to work to re-earn it. Provided that is happening, you have to be willing to let her.
