Hitler oversaw one of the greatest expansions of industrial production and civil improvement Germany had ever seen, mostly based on debt flotation and expansion of the military. Hitler also oversaw one of the largest infrastructure-improvement campaigns in German history, with the construction of dozens of dams, roads, railroads, and other civil works.
He was Time Magazine's Person Of The Year in 1938. He wrote multiple books during his lifetime. They reached many readers.
In the latter half of the century, Hitler had prominent off-screen roles in the Indiana Jones movies.
