I want Ash's Squirtle to become stronger than his Carizard I really do?

This isn't a question. Ash's squirtle and charizard aren't even on the show any more. I don't see them coming back any time soon, unless it is for a couple of episodes. They are both Ash's pokemon, why would they be fighting?
