The Bible tells us we were created in God's image, but it also tells us when we stopped fully reflecting Gods image(Gen 3:1-6). As to the idea that God is tring us,James 1:13-15 should shed light on this idea and also how Adam and Eve came to do what they did.

James 1:13-15

The poster above forgot the fact that Adam & Eve was ignorant of what God is at that time. However, the following are some info about the Epistle of James.

The seven Catholic Epistles, James, First and Second Peter, First, Second and Third John, and Jude, have never been held in very high esteem by the church. Many of the Christian Fathers, rejected them, while modern Christian scholars have generally considered them of doubtful authenticity. The first and last of these were rejected by Martin Luther. "St. James' Epistle," says Luther, "is truly an epistle of straw" (Preface to Luther's New Testament, ed. I524). Jude, he says, "is an abstract or copy of St. Peter's Second, and allegeth stories and sayings which have no place in Scripture."

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Can God be tempted?

James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

Has God ever tempted Anyone?

James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Does hell exists?

God's creation, the universe, is a result of His power and reflects His ideas. The manner in which the universe works, the so-called "laws of nature" that man has examined, are actually set up by God as a method for the workings of the universe. It is through God's rules that the machinery of the world functions as it does. The things of nature that we understand and the things that lie outside our knowledge are His work. There are examples of His hand in things.

Think on the beginning of everything. Where did all matter and energy come from? He created it. And consider the conversion of matter to energy and vice versa. It is possible to make those conversions, and it is just a part of the way God set up the universe. It is God's handiwork. If one looks at evolution and finds a blank place at the beginning where no evidence can be found for the appearance of life, insert creation there, for it is God who created life. All that we know presents a skyscraper of knowledge and of evidence, but on what is it built? Where did it come from? Everything that is, all we see and have yet to see, all we know and that which we may discover, are His doing.

God has not put Creation on trial. He speaks to us through nature, through all that is around us. He speaks to us through His work, His creation. He has made His case already. The proof is that we exist and that the world and the universe are unfolded around us as they are because it is His will. And it is through faith that we accept what is and what He has done. For that, too, is His law and His will.

Another answer

As it turns out, God is not putting His creation on trial. If anyone is putting His creation on trial, it is man. But man is not putting creation on trial. There is debate over the mechanism behind creation as it is not specified (in detail) in scripture and has not been illuminated by science. There always has been debate over theological ideas. Nothing has changed. Why is creation the flavor of the month?

The idea that His creation has been put on trial is a suggestion only, nothing more, and it is based on the actions of zealots and the backlash they encountered. They want "parity" in public schools in the form of the teaching of creationism as an alternative to the teaching of evolution. And they (the zealots) are attempting an end run around Constitutional constraints regarding the mixing of the affairs of church and state. They are putting forward the idea of Intelligent Design and attempting to pass if off as something that is not an extension of religious creationism. Their deceit was so clearly seen for what it is. And instead of being humbled for "bearing false witness" they are outraged. Anyone who puts lipstick on a pig and attempts to pass it off as a debutante - and gets caught - should be ashamed instead of angry.

No links are provided and no further discussion is offered here. The topic is covered (ad nauseam?) in other questions dealing with Intelligent Design and whether or not ID should be taught in public school. You are cordially invited to join the fray. Wear your thinking cap - and your old clothes. It could get dirty when the mud begins to fly.

Answer

God is Love. God created us to share in it. If we cannot freely "love", then we are just robots (think Data in Star Trek), merely serving and not having any free will or choice in the matter. It is this great love of God that first created us (via evolution, if that's how you want to believe it), then gave us free will and instilled in us the knowledge of good - to share in God's life. It is our choice to reject the good, having believed we ourselves are "God". True love is free. We are just living with the consequences of our rejection of love. The angels also had that choice, having been given greater power, but some rejected it and thus we have the devils. As humans, we get multiple chances and Jesus shows us the greatest love of all by becoming human, sacrificing himself for us, and giving himself to us via the Eucharist.

Hint:

Yes God is all good, all kind, and all knowing.

But we have both good and bad inside us, since we are the only creatures who are successors of God on earth, as all other creatures have chosen to be obligatory submissive to God.

But we, as humans, were given the opportunity to choose, though our choices are at the same time, previously fated by God.

5. And the heaven and Him Who built it,

6. And the earth and Him Who spread it,

7. And a soul and Him Who perfected it

8. And inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it.

9. He is indeed successful who causethit to grow,

10. And he is indeed a failure who stunteth it.

Angels were created from light, they are obligatory submissive, too.

Devils are created from fire, but are not obligatory submissive, they were also given the right to choose, but not the right of succession

and the fact of our being examined in life, lies behind the wisdom of our purification, just like purifying gold, or iron by treating with fire.

then it is a normal result that we will then be questioned for our deeds, and rewarded for them.

16. And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders.

17. And We have guarded it from every outcast devil,

18. Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue.

19. And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein.

20. And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not.

21. And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure.

22. And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof.

23. Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor.

24. And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards.

25. Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware.

26. Verily We created man of potter's clay of black mud altered,

27. And the jinn did We create aforetime of essential fire.

28. And (remember) when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am creating a mortal out of potter's clay of black mud altered,

29. So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him.

30. So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together

31. Save Iblis. He refused to be among the prostrate.

32. He said: O Iblis! What aileth thee that thou art not among the prostrate ?

33. He said: I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered!

34. He said: Then go thou forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast.

35. And lo! the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment.

36. He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised.

37. He said: Then lo! thou art of those reprieved

38. Till the Day of appointed time... [quoted from, The meanings of the Glorious Quran, by Marmaduke Pickthall]

Answer

God is good, and He created man perfect. But due to the fall of man through sin, we are now sinful, and imperfect. God wants us to look to Him, but our sinful flesh disobeys Him. As a result, because He loves us and doesn't want us to live sinfully, He places us under trials to purify our hearts.

Answer

There is a failure in the logic of the question, which is to assume by extension that because (1) God is omnibenevolent and (2) God created man, that man should be omnibenevolent; anything that is good has the capacity to create something weaker than itself. As a result, while man may be in the image of God, it is a reflection not a pure replication. This creates a need for a testing mechanism to separate those who are proper reflections from those who are not.

How long you have to wait for court date after posting bond?

The answer relates to the "Speedy Trial" rules and usually is 90 days or less, unless an extension to that time is granted, or acquiesced to, by your defense attorney.

How long can they hold you in jail before trial in Indiana?

Once you have been charged and arraigned you should go to trial in 90 days or less (i.e.: right to a "speedy" trial). However, if your defense attorney requests a waiver of speedy trial and asks for more time (for whatever reason) the judge will usually grant their request. Also, if the prosecution asks for an extension of the time limit, AND YOUR ATTORNEY AGREES TO IT, the judge will usually grant that also. If you're that anxious to go to trial, speak with your defense attorney and ask them what the holdup is.
