The answer depends on the nature of the arrest.
The USBP website indicates that past arrests MAY rate you as unqualified, but does not address specific threshholds.
Substance offenses, violent offenses, and "crimes of moral turpitude" generally disqualify someone from most law enforcement positions, however, spending a night in a drunk tank while in college is generally not something that will preclude you from this type of work.
My best advice is to be completely upfront and honest about your arrest history. Most agencies look at overall character more than single instances of minor misconduct.
