If I was listed as the primary signer on a car loan but never recieved a title because the cosigner registered and insured it in his name can I be held liable for a default on the loan? In: Co-signing |

the co signer has held the title to protect their credit. you need your own isurance. the co signer has all rights in your car and if you do not pay on time you are first to be held respondsible- you need a written agreement that you will recieve the title once the car has been paid for to clear his name off the loan
