Yes. It is wise though to set up something without going to court if you are the non custodial parent because you will have to pay atty fees, court costs and in the end still have to pay half for college.

The age of majority in Alabama is 19, so child support will continue while the child is currently 18 year old, but will end on their 19th birthday.

Note that a child support order that is in arrears can be pursued indefinitely in Alabama until it the debt is fully paid.
