Depending on how badly damaged the CD is and depending on what type file that the file is and if it's not out dated then your CD might work on your computer but you might need another program on your computer for it to work but try it any way. It depends. If the CD Drive used to create the disk uses the same format as the current Windows XP computer run CD Drive, it should run without problems. Although, if your current computer does not support the format, then it may not. Also, if the CD was made specifically for an older version of Windows/Mac OS. You should try it and find out.
