If a Mexican Red Knee spider will not eat its food and molted three days ago could this be the problem?

Answer

Answer

I have a Mexican Red Knee (still not fully adult) that behaved just this way.

You need to give your spider some time. If she doesn't eat within the next couple of days, I'd be concerned, but not yet.

Give it a couple of days more without food or disturbance to let the spider "de-stress". If she still doesn't eat, there could be a problem.

Answer

Golly man. Relax- she just molted, you shouldn't try and feed her so soon. wait a couple of days and if she still doesn't eat, then you should probably call someone who is knowledgeable about that breed of spider for advice.
