I'm not sure that saying you write about something means you either do it yourself or that you approve of it yourself. Just because you write murder mysteries, doesn't mean you have committed any. Same holds true for sci-fi. All writing involves research, role development, imagination and imagery. Writing about lesbian erotica for women doesn't mean she is a lesbian. Erotica is erotica. Maybe she has found a market for her books, is a wise business woman, and a flexible author.

It certainly wouldn't mean you are a lesbian. The only thing that would make you a lesbian were if you were only attracted to women. However, the fact that you do like writing lesbian erotica, means that you must find sexuality between women enjoyable. That indicates, to me, that you are probably not straight. You may be bisexual.
