If a guinea pig makes sounds when you hold it does that mean something is wrong or that it is happy?

There are a number of guinea pig noises, if they make a chirriping noise, it means that they're happy, or they like the place where you're scratching them. If they make a more squeky high noise, it means that they're unhappy, and that you are not holding your guinea pig correctly. I wish you good luck

Answer

If a guinea pig makes a squeaky high pitched noise and bald patches appear it is a sign of sarcoptic mites, this needs to be treated by a vet.
