If a trait is a dominant trait why would babies not have the trait?

A dominant trait is a genetic trait which may cause a hereditary condition, a recessive trait disappears or goes in the background and only shows in a few generations.

You would use a capital letter. And for the recessive a lower case. For example.Brown hair is dominant over blonde.B for Brown (the dominant)And b for Blonde (the recessive)
