If an ultrasound showed you were 11 weeks 1 day pregnant can you count back to see when you conceived? In: Ultrasounds |
[Edit] |
Answer
Pregnancy is dated by adding 2 weeks to the weeks that you are.. for example.. if you are 11 weeks then you actually concieved 9 weeks ago.. they actually count pregnancy from your last menstral period, even though you were not actually pregnant for about 2 more weeks..

If you have had an ultrasound then your doctor would have been able to give you an EDD date of the birth. The site below will enable you to accurately establish the date of conception based on your due date or last menstruation date. After clicking on the link, scroll down a little until you come to a list of dates. It is the most accurate table on the Net.

- I had an ultrasound and she said that the sac looked to be about five weeks...but there is no fetal pole...is that normal?
- At the 7 week ultrasound the fetal heart rate was 110bpm at 9 weeks it was only around 120bpm is this a sign that something is wrong my doctor didn't seem too worried about it?
- Can you see you are pregnant on a ultrasound at 2-3 weeks?
- How does one facilitate conception?
