If dash lights aren't coming on in a 2000 Chevy Tracker could it be as simple as a fuse or does it need to go to the mechanic?

Answer

the first thing that a vehicle owner should always check first is the fuses. the mechanic (depending on where you go) may try to charge you for additional work and parts. i know ,i used to be one.
if changing the fuse works then you ok but if it blows again you have a short somewhere and you gonna have to go to a mechanic.
