If somebody sees a crime being committed and did absolutely nothing would that person be charged in the court of law?

I have never heard of such a law. People witness crimes every day and don't do anything about it.

they can be for contributing to the crime because they did not contact authorities that is a serios crime and you can go to jail for this for several years
