The only method of smoke inhallation with marijuana that will cause you to fail a urinalysis is first-hand consumption. If you sat in a room or a vehicle with someone who smokes, the concentration of tetrahydrocannabinol is not significant enough to show up on a urinalysis, blood or hair follicle test. Urinalysis being the cheapest of all the tests, shows positive at 50 nanograms of THC in the sample. Being around it will not cause a great enough concentration in your lungs to be absorbed into the bloodstream and passed out of the system as waste at a 50 nanogram level.

Typically not. There is not enough THC or other cannabinoids absorbed into the body to test positive for marijuana. If you use a whole lot of THC based lotions, it is possible to test positive, however.
